The sign was dropped off at school today where it will soon be mounted in cement so it can be placed in the garden. We hope to have it up soon so people can start using it.

Chloe and her dad finished the consrtuction/building aspect of the sign. We fixed the team blog, as well as added some components. All online documents were updated to its fullest. We are trying to plan out how we are going to bring the sign to school. As we have just found out, Mr. Bursch is not going to be at school tomorrow (the due date). So we have to work around that and ask Mr. Bursch about when we should bring the sign.
We drilled holes previous to putting the nails in so it wouldn't be so hard.
We used this angle to make sure the frame wouldn't end up crocked.
We put nails in each letters just to make sure the letters wouldn't move if the sign got banged around.
After we finished the top letters, we had to mark the placings of bottom letters.
We placed the plastic and plywood in the cutouts to make sure they fit okay.
We had the whole sign raised on blocks while we worked on it.
We had to mark and match up a lot of places before we put in any screws or nails.
We put a clamp across the short side of the sign to make sure everything was tight. We also used a little right triangle to make sure everything was laying flat.
Drilling holes, on the crosspiece below the lower letters, where the screws will go in.
One of the markings we used to position the letters.
One of the nails that secures the letters.
We had a lot of equipment set up and clamped onto the sign to make sure the wood was in the right place.
The map is slightly smaller than the opening on the frame, so we had to make sure we kept holding the plastic and wood tight so the map wouldn't move from where we had centered it.
We dropped the sheets in and started screwing them into the frame. We put screws all the way around the wood and plastic to make it very secure and partialy weather resistant.
The completed sign.

Chloe let me know of an error on the map, and we had an issue figuring out how to fix it. I asked Mr. Bursch, and he gave some suggestions, so I think we'll test some ideas before correcting the error on the actual map.

Once again, we met to work on the map. However, this time, we were able to completely finish the map. Also, we took and posted more images onto our blog. Not only that, but we checked Mr. Bursch's requirements and started updating our documents and checking to make sure we had everything we need.
The map is finally completely colored and we can proudly say it is done.
Jasmine and I working had on finish those last few areas.
After a lot of long hard hours we have reached our goal (sort of) and now just have to finish constructing the sign frame and mount it.
We added a touch of what the garden looks like right now even though there may not be squash in this patch next year.
We tried to put accurate visualiztions of what is represented in the planters all over the garden or what is coming soon - in the next few years.

I put more information on our documents that I did not have access to at school on Thursday.

We continued working on the map, which consisted of coloring and drawing. We went and traced the writing in colored pencil. We colored most main bodies, and finished the majority of the descriptions. Also, we planned to meet again tomorrow to finish the map.

Our so close to being finished map.
We almost had too many colors to choose from.

I realized that our original timeline was incorrect and irrelevant, so I notified Chloe about it and I will try to correct it.

During class we had time to work more on the project so we got computers and updated our documents and filled in information we had missed before.
